Nintendo just has this thing for coming up with original game concepts and not being afraid to use them. Pikmin is a very charming game that has a lot more than first meets the eye. Some gamers may be put off by the cute graphics but they will miss out on a original and fun experience. Pikmin is a puzzle game where you have to control three types of Pikmin to rebuild your spaceship before your air supply runs out which is in 30 days. It starts off with a easy pace so you can begin to understand the game but then it gets harder and harder. Its a challenge to get all 30 ship pieces in 30 days however you don't have to get all the pieces but then you won't get the good ending. You have to plan everything before you go and do it. The controls are simple and straightforward. The graphics aren't that great when viewed from far away but are spectacular when zoomed in. The environments are almost photo-realistic. The sound is anything special but it gets the job done. Not everyone will charmed by Pikmin so I advise you to rent it first.
