Nintendo come out with another classic. One thing about Mario Sunshine that can go both ways is its similarity to Mario 64. The bad thing about it is that there is nothing new except for F.L.U.D.D. of course. The good thing is that Mario 64 was a great game. Its one of those titles that you either love or hate. Mario has to clear up his name after a look-a-like gooed the whole of Delfino Isle. He has the help of his waterpak name F.L.U.D.D. to clean up the isle at the same time. The gameplay is typical Mario with all the trimmings. Most of his acrobatic moves and jumps make a comeback as well as the F.L.U.D.D. aided moves such as hovering. A little later in the game who will be able to ride Yoshi to solve some puzzles. Mario Sunshine is a relatively long game. It will take a while to collect all the Sun Sprites, all the coins and complete all the mini-games. Most of the time Mario will need to use the jetpak but for some levels it gets taken away. The graphics are above-average but aren't brilliant. Everything is in vivid color like all the Mario games but even more so in Sunshine. The background music is takes alot from calypso music which suits the tropical isle very well. The sound effects are excellent as well. Mario Sunshine is another must own Gamecube title.
