COMMENTS

This has got to be one of the most ingenious games ever. There is so much to do and its all in real-time. Animal Crossing uses your Gamecube's internal clock so the time and date are the same as in reality. I start the day by checking my mail. Then I usually take a stroll around town and help out any animals in need. After that I go fishing and bug hunting and sell them, donate them to the museum or just keep them as pets. Eventually I go check out what Nook has in his store and the turnip prices (which you can buy every Sunday). Finally I go mail anything I need to mail at the Post Office. Sometimes I even travel to another town. You can also hook up your Game Boy Advance to visit the island. Then repeat tomorrow. Doing chores everyday sounds boring bu it isn't. However if you feel like working then go and play some NES games or make up a new town tune or even create a pattern that you use on clothing, umbrellas, walls, floors, you door and signs. The graphics and sound might not be amazing but the gameplay and lasting appeal more than make up for that.  This is the only game on any console that I have played almost everyday since I got it. You would be doing a disservice to your Gamecube if you do not have this game.
